Illustrations by Ingrid Godon and Children’s Portraits by August Sander

Based on various artistic media, the exhibition presents a unique combination of children’s portraits. The intense, yet delicately drawn, portraits by Flemish illustrator Ingrid Godon are juxtaposed with a selection of images by famous photographer August Sander. The exhibition is part of Internationale Kinder- und Jugendbuchwochen 2016 (International Children and Young Adults Book Weeks), which are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year with a focus on Flemish and Dutch literature for children and young adults. www.kibuwo-koeln.de
