An exhibition in honour of the collector and founder Wilhelm Clemens, who donated 100 years ago to the MAKK his extraordinary and exquisite collection of 1600 objects of arts and crafts and fine arts from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, making him the museum's largest single donor.
50 objects from the collection are juxtaposed with contemporary artistic works by Ulrike Siecaup and Sigmund de Jong.
The opening speeches as videos in German language: Greetings from Susanne Laugwitz-Aulbach and Petra Hesse and a lecture by Romana Rebbelmund.
Dr. Petra Hesse, Direktorin des MAKK
Susanne Laugwitz-Aulbach, Beigeordnete für Kunst und Kultur der Stadt Köln
